Pick your own apples available from August to October.Golden Delicious are usually available Labor Day weekend, with ten more varieties following in September and October.Reservations are not required for picking. In their country store, bakery and gift shop, they sell apple pies, fesh cider, cider slushies, apple butter and other food products.They also sell a number of unique gift items and kitchen gadgets.The farm is owned by David and Lola Coston.

Grandad’s Apples - Hendersonville, NC
A 70 acre family farm that has been growing apples for four generations.They allow u-pick and also sell 20 different varieties of pre-picked apples.They also sell pumpkins and have a 5 acre corn maze with five different way stations.Meet the farm animals in the barnyard corral or ride the cow train for a tour.Bakery sells apple cider donuts, apple fritters, cider slushies, hot cider and other delicious goodies.Open daily from August through November.

The Justus family, which has been growing apples for more than 100 years, invite you to enjoy their Western North Carolina apple orchard.Apples are available for picking from mid-August thru early November on their dwarf-size trees.In their bakery, they sell fresh apple cider and a number of apple deserts including fried apple pies, apple cobbler and apple cider donuts.Or bring your lunch and enjoy eating it in the picnic area.They also have 2 acres of pumpkins – choose from PYO or pre-picked pumpkins.

Sky Top Orchard - Zirconia, NC
Start pumpkin picking in late September. They feature u-pick apples starting August 1st. They have 22 varieties of apples, plus apple cider, donuts, and more. The address is 1193 Pinnacle Mountain Road, Zirconia, NC. It is about 34 miles south of Ashville. A 60 acre orchard owned by David and Lindsey Butler which was planted in the 1960s by Everette Butler, David’s father. Pick your own apples and pumpkins in season. They grow more than 20 varieties of apples.Enjoy a tractor pulled wagon ride, large playground for kids, free apple & cider tastings, and the nature trail with bamboo “forest” and orchard ponds. Try their apple cider donuts, cider slushes and apple cider. Visit the barnyard animal area with sheep, goats, chickens and more. They do not accept debit or credit cards.

A 70 acre, fourth generation working farm.PYO apples from 22 varieties in their 40 acre orchard or select the perfect pumpkin from their patch.The Country Market sells apple cider, apple butter and an assortment of other gift and food items.
