Here is our big list of Oktoberfest in New Jersey celebrations for 2016. The one million NJ residents with German heritage, and all those who want to pretend that they are German for a weekend and indulge in food and beverage, should have no trouble finding a nearby New Jersey Oktoberfest to attend.

Medford Oktoberfest – Medford, NJ – Sept 17, 2016

German American Society of Trenton Oktoberfest – Trenton, NJ – September 25, 2016
The German-American Society is proud to present Mercer County’s Largest German Event. 7th Annual Oktoberfest – Traditional Beer Festival from 12 noon – 7:00 pm. Featuring beers by Samuel Adams as well as many German Beers! With music by the Austrian Boys and German Dance performances by the GTV Almrausch. The event will also feature a pig roast, traditional German food, vendors and crafts, bounce castles, kid activities and family fun! Join 94.5 PST live at the event from 2 pm – 4pm hosting a Stein holding competition. $5 admission, children 12 & under free and individuals in full traditional German attire get in free! Part of the proceeds benefit the Jeremy Fund.

Our Lady of the Lake Oktoberfest – Verona, NJ – October 8, 2016
Seventh annual Oktoberfest under the grand tent in the OLL parking lot. Authentic German food, beer, wine, and live music. Festivities begin with ceremonial beer keg tapping. Advance tickets are $65 per person. Fourth annual Kinderfest under the tents in the Montrose Avenue parking lot is free but tickets are required for certain rides, games and crafts.

Duck Pond Oktoberfest – Demarest, NJ – October 10, 2015
34th annual craft show and Oktoberfest with German music, German food, inflatable games and canoe rides.  Event is hosted by the Demarest Nature Center.

Smithville Oktoberfest – Smithville, NJ – October 3-4, 2015
Music, kids activities, international food court and over 100 Juried Crafters in addition to the year round Village activities.
Location:  Historic Smithville and Village Green.

Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest – Chester, NJ – September 26-27, 2015
The Chester Lions Club will host its 16th annual Oktoberfest charity fundraiser on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27, 2015 from noon to 8 PM. Enjoy authentic German food, beer, dancing, live entertainment and a 50/50 raffle at Chubb Park on Route 24 in Chester, NJ. The Oktoberfest is a family friendly event with entertainment, pony rides, games and live music for kids. Children under 12 are free. Admission is $6 for adults. Leonia Oktoberfest – Leonia, NJ – October 3, 2015
16th annual Oktoberfest sponsored by the Rotary Club of The Palisades to support the Weekend Snack Pack Program at local schools. This is a family friendly event with food and drink, kids activities, and German competitions.

Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ Oktoberfest – Clark, NJ – September 12-13, 2015 & October 3-4, 2015

Oasis Oktoberfest – Franklin Lakes, NJ – October 16, 2015
Proceeds from this 12th annual Oktoberfest benefit OASIS – a haven for women and children.

Pig and Prince Oktoberfest – Montclair, NJ – September 27, 2015
The Pig and Prince Restaurant and Gastrolounge is holding its 3rd annual Oktoberfest which will feature authentic German food and seven local craft breweries. Tickets are $20 per person which includes admission, authentic Oktoberfest beer mug, raffle ticket, and one token good for one beer or food station.

Princeton Lodge Oktoberfest – Princeton, NJ – October 10, 2015
 Seventh annual Oktoberfest hosted by Princeton Lodge #38 from 11 AM to 6 PM with traditional German meal, German beer and music. Admission is $10 and a portion of profits benefits the Tristate Wheelchair Athletic Association.

NJ Oktoberfest at Crystal Springs Resort – Sussex County, NJ – September 19-20, 2015
This annual New Jersey Oktoberfest is held at The Red Tail Lodge. It will have German beer, German and American food, live music and Bavarian Dancers, beer wrestling, pie eating, Miss Oktoberfest contest and a bunch more games and contests.

Zeppelin Hall Oktoberfest – Jersey City, NJ – Friday and Saturday nights, Starting September 25, 2015
Over 50 beers on tap and German food along with live music from German party bands and contests/giveaways.

New Jersey’s Best Oktoberfest & Vendor Fair – Warren, NJ – October 10, 2015
Oompah at its best. Smell the aroma of sizzling bratwurst, and hear the cries of “Prosit!” It must be time for Forest Lodge’s OKTOBERFEST ! Yodel on over to Forest Lodge and help “Roll out the Barrel’ at Oktoberfest. Everyone’s Invited! The celebration begins SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2015 (rain date: Sunday, October 11, 2015).
Gates Open 11am * Food & Beverage Pavilion 12pm * Band Starts 1pm.
The Bavarian Brother’s will have you dancing and singing to all your favorite songs! The Festhalle will have all day entertainmentincluding Traditional German Dances, Cow Bell Ringing, and Alp Horn demonstrations too!
Of course the best part of Forest Lodge’s Oktoberfest is the hearty menu of German-American foods. The menu is vast, so come and feast on all these delicious foods. Leave room for the scrumptious German cakes & strudels! Don’t forget that cold German beer to wet your whistle!
Oktoberfest attracts many visitors just for the shopping opportunities at the Vendor Fair. Over 45 vendors selling a wide range of products at the Vendor Fair at Oktoberfest! Vendors will be selling candles, home-made crafts, jewelry, baskets, soaps, seasonal items, far too many items to list them all. It’s the ideal opportunity to start your holiday shopping with many unique gift items. Oktoberfest is great fun for the children as well. Kids will keep busy with Amusement Rides, Carnival Booths, Inflatable’s and other activities.

Saint Peter and Paul Parish Oktoberfest – Hoboken, NJ – September 25-26, 2015
Plan on celebrating with family and friends as Ss Peter and Paul teams up with Hoboken Catholic Academy for Hoboken Family Oktoberfest. Enjoy traditional Oktoberfest fare from bratwurst to strudel, along with some other great festival favorites. It wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without some seasonal ice-cold brews, so raise a glass in toasting some delicious Oktoberfest drafts in our Biergarten located inside the Ss Peter and Paul parking lot. The fun does not stop there! Enjoy live music performed by “Nobody’s Sheriff” and take the gang on a trip through our kid’s village across the street at Stevens Park. Forest Lodge Oktoberfest – Warren, NJ – October 19, 2014
Lots of family fun under their covered pavilions.  Enjoy good foods and cold German beers.  Kids fun includes face painting, rides, inflatables, and more.  Music is by Bernie’s Orchestra.  Tickets are $10 with children under 10 free.

Fall Beer & Food Fest – Allamuchy, NJ – September 14, 2014
Panther Pub hosts this Oktoberfest at Panther Valley Mall.  Free admission from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Great foods available including pig roast, bratwurst, chicken, burgers, apple pie and much more.  Fun includes face painting, pumpkin decorating, and live music from Slackjaw Blues Band.

Oktoberfest in August – North Bergen – August 16-17, 2014
Celebrate the 140th Plattduetsche Volksfest Vereen with their annual Oktoberfest in August event at Schuetzen Park.  Enjoy German foods, children’s games, a little miss beauty pageant, and their famous beer stein holding competition.  Music fun is provided by the Austrian Boys and the Bavarian Dancers.  Tickets are $10.  The fest starts at 12:00 pm.

Pilsner Haus Oktoberfest – Hoboken, NJ – Weekends September 26 – October 25, 2014
Kick off Oktoberfest at this authentic Beer Hall in New Jersey on September 26th.  Activities and live bands every Friday and Saturday nights.

Golden Nugget Oktoberfest on the Deck – Atlantic City, NJ
Last year there was an Oktoberfest on the Sunday following the September Craft Beer Festival which happens on September 26-27. 2014.  We don’t see any mention of it happening in 2013.

Avalon Oktoberfest – Avalon, NJ
Location:  Avalon near 20th street between Dune and Ocean Drive, Avalon, NJ.

Oktoberfest at Stone House at Stirling Ridge – Warren, NJ – October 12, 2013
Stone House at Stirling Ridge is holding an Oktoberfest from Noon – 3 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2013. German food and kegs of Weyerbacher and Breckenridge. $40 in advance. $45 at the door. Admission includes two beers and unlimited grilled bratwurst, hot pretzels, potato dumplings and apple strudel. Call to RSVP: (866) 683-3586
