Canon R3 Camera Black Friday 2021 & Cyber Monday Deals

Find the best Black Friday deals on the Canon R3 camera here at Funtober. Funtober brings you all the ads and sales on photography and camera equipment running during early Black Friday in November through Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday 2021.

Black Friday 2021 will be here soon and this is your best chance to find a deal on Canon’s powerful new EOS R3 mirrorless camera before Christmas.

The regular price of the Canon EOS R3 Mirrorless Digital Camera (body only) is $5999. Shipping is expected to begin over Thanksgiving Weekend with retailers taking pre-orders in November.

We don’t often see a product that begins shipping over Thanksgiving weekend be the subject of Black Friday ads or sales. However, the R3 Canon camera faces some challenges that other products don’t normally face – it is up against potential Black Friday deals by other camera manufacturers (Nikon and Sony) for their flagship digital cameras.

Early Black Friday Options: Black Friday deals are moving earlier and earlier so we are excited to see if the Canon EOS R3 camera goes on sale before Thanksgiving weekend as part of a pre-order special. If it happens, we will post it here. (Probably unlikely).

Canon R3 Black Friday 2021: The biggest deals on electronics usually happen on Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday morning as part of the doorbuster deals, so we will closely be following and posting about any opportunities to snag the new Canon mirrorless camera on sale during this time period. This is when shipping will begin, so a store might try to move its inventory quickly so that it can reload before Christmas and supply chain issues.

Canon R3 Cyber Monday Deals: If you have not pulled the trigger by the end of the weekend, it is time to hope for lower prices as part of the Cyber Monday sales or Cyber Week specials. If you see the R3 go on sale earlier, don’t risk missing out by waiting to see what it is priced at here.

B&H Photo says: “mirrorless EOS R system with the robustness and performance you’d expect from a flagship DSLR”.

Rumors are that the flagship EOS R1 will be released by Canon next year (announcement Q3?) and will start shipping in Q4 next year (2022). If you aren’t going to wait to see what is in store, and want to move to the newest mirrorless camera from Canon, this is your shot. If you decide to wait around for the R1 camera, we completely understand. It’s always a tough call whether to upgrade or not.
