Houston Halloween Parties, Events and Fun in 2020

We’ve found multiple options to celebrate Houston Halloween in Texas. Adults can choose from some wild Halloween parties. Families can select a kid friendly event to enjoy. It’s October and time to make plans to celebrate Halloween in Houston for 2019.

2018 Events

Boo on the Boardwalk - Kemah, TX - Oct 4 to Oct 31, 2019
There are plenty of Halloween activities to enjoy at the Kemah Boardwalk during their annual Boo on the Boardwalk, including mini pumpkin decorating, kid’s costume contests, magic shows, Halloween movie screenings and live concerts. Check the schedule on their website and have fun all month long!

Houston Zoo Boo - Houston, TX - Oct 11 to Oct 27, 2019
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Celebrate fall festivities at the Houston Zoo with activities that are fun for the entire family. We encourage all kids to come dressed in their spookiest or prettiest Halloween costume! Activities will include the Whataburger Pumpkin Patch, Monster Mural, spooky stamp station, plenty of photo ops, Meet the Keeper Talks Presented by Phillips 66, DJ, and kids will receive a stamp at our Candy Corn Maze stations! All Zoo Boo activities are included with your paid Zoo admission. Zoo Boo is FREE for all Members.

Halloween in the Woodlands - The Woodlands, TX - Oct 11 to Nov 1, 2019

Halloween Monster Mayhem - Houston, TX - Oct 12 to Oct 31, 2019
Something icky is oozing its way to the Children’s Museum of Houston! A myriad of ooey, gooey and slimy has maneuvered its way into the Museum for three weeks of Halloween. Check out the event website for a full schedule and ticketing information.

Scream on the Garden - Houston, TX - Oct 25, 2019
Visitors will have a spooky good time at Houston’s citywide costume contest and Halloween celebration for the whole family! There will be games, prizes, Halloween spectacle, a movie, performances, living statues, fortune tellers, music and more! Visitors can win candy and prizes playing our FREE games! 6-10 PM.
