It locates holiday activities for all ages – from kid-friendly children’s activities to adult Halloween parties. We don’t have every event yet, but there are plenty of ideas to get you and your family in the mood for Halloween in Texas.

Halloween Spooktacular – Sea World San Antonio - San Antonio, TX - Sep 16 to Oct 31, 2021
SeaWorld welcomes families for more treats than tricks during its daytime Halloween Spooktacular. This not-so-scary Halloween experience is fun for all ages. Guests can enjoy traditional Halloween favorites like trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, kid-friendly Halloween shows and characters, creative costumes, and a hay maze. This daytime event is perfect for kids and those who are kids at heart.
San Antonio Zoo Boo - San Antonio, TX - Sep 18 to Oct 31, 2021
The Zoo hosts its family friendly, non-spooky Halloween celebration, Zoo Boo! Held Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., the zoo will be decked out with Halloween fun complete with trick-or-treat stations, a fun hay maze, pumpkin painting, and plenty of games. Families can even enjoy a ride on the Zoo Boo! Express. Little ghouls and goblins are encouraged to wear their best costume* for a chance to be in a costume contest.
Pumpkin Nights - , TX - Sep 23 to Oct 31, 2021
For 2021, a Texas night of amazing lit pumpkins awaits in Dallas/Fort Worth (9/23-10/31) and Austin (9/30-10/31). Pumpkin Nights brings an interactive Halloween experience unlike anything else! Pumpkin Nights invites visitors or “Pumpkinheads” to journey into the world of Pumpkin Nights with dazzling, multi-sensory Halloween displays and eight Pumpkin Lands created with over 3,000 hand-carved pumpkins and funkins.
Houston Zoo Boo - Houston, TX - Oct 1 to Oct 31, 2021
7 days a week during regular zoo hours. Celebrate fall festivities at the Houston Zoo with activities that are fun for the entire family. We encourage all kids to come dressed in their spookiest or prettiest Halloween costume! Activities will include the plenty of photo ops, Giant and carved pumpkins, Lantern Tunnel, Scary-Go-Round (the carousel), and more. All Zoo Boo activities are included with your paid Zoo admission. Zoo Boo is FREE for all Members.
Boo on the Boardwalk - Kemah, TX - Oct 1 to Oct 31, 2021
There are plenty of Halloween activities to enjoy at the Kemah Boardwalk during their annual Boo on the Boardwalk, including mini pumpkin decorating, kid’s costume contests, magic shows, Halloween movie screenings and live concerts. Check the schedule on their website and have fun all month long!

Bring your families and friends and walk along a lighted trail of carved jack-o-lanterns in the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum in Clapp Park. Last year, citizens donated 1,730 carved pumpkins and attendance was over 22,000 people.

Discover a wide variety of native plants, succulents, grasses, and butterfly-friendly plants during the BOOtanica Plant Sale. Friendly and knowledgeable volunteers will be on-site to help you find the perfect plants for your garden. Admission is not required to shop the plant sale which will take place in front of the Admission Kiosk. However, admission is required to visit the Botanical Garden.
