It locates holiday activities for all ages – from kid-friendly children’s activities to adult Halloween parties. We don’t have every event yet, but there are plenty of ideas to get you and your family in the mood for Halloween in Wisconsin.

Boofest - Neenah, WI - Oct 15, 2022
Future Neenah hosts BooFest during the final outdoor Farmers Market of the season each year in Shattuck Park. It is a FREE, fun, fall, family event with Halloween activities including a kids and dog costume contest, games such as pumpkin bowling, carved pumpkin contest, and trick-or-treating both Downtown (10am-noon) and at the Market (9am-noon).
Boo at the Zoo – Milwaukee Zoo - Milwaukee, WI - Oct 20 to Oct 23, 2022
As the sun starts to set, enter the Zoo and see it in a whole new light (or whole new darkness). Decorations throughout the park will delight kids and adults. Halloween décor includes hundreds of freshly carved pumpkins throughout the Zoo courtesy of the Zoo Pride volunteers and staff. While those pumpkins light up the path, your faces will light up when you watch a professional pumpkin carving demonstration. Watch the amazing transformation and detailed work put into the giant pumpkin. Kids can load up at treat stops throughout the Zoo. But don’t look down at the goodies too long, or you’ll miss the stilt walker going through the Zoo. Other opportunities include riding the Raven’s Rail (the Halloween-themed train ride). Costumes are not required, but it’s just a lot more fun when you wear them.
Fright Night - Greenville, WI - Oct 21 to Oct 29, 2022
Haunted Pavilion and Hay Ride. Spook free hour for younger kids followed by lights out full scare. Bonfire, face painting, pumpkin decorating, dance party and concessions.
Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary Halloween Event - Green Bay, WI - Oct 21, 2022
A fun family event suitable for all ages. Kids are welcome to come in their costumes! Trick-or-treaters will navigate the trails of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and visit different booths while hearing the wolves howl and owls hoot. Paid participants will receive a trick-or-treat bag with treats, map, and glow sticks. Booths throughout the trail will have activities, games, and more treats to collect. A campfire, music, and s’mores station will also be available.
Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead Celebration - Kenosha, WI - Oct 22, 2022
Learn about making an ofrenda (altar) from Bradford High School Spanish students. Create paper flowers to put on the ofrenda in honor of loved ones. Enjoy performances by the Ballet Forklorico Nacional. Then explore the Museum as you expand your vocabulary with a bilingual scavenger hunt.
Haunted Hustle 5K - Middleton, WI - Oct 22 to Oct 23, 2022
The Spooky Duo race event is a two-day challenge that combines the 5K event on Saturday with the Half Marathon or 10K on Sunday. Family Experience featuring live entertainment, bouncy village, face painting, balloon animals, s’mores, cookie decorating, kid’s yoga, local mascots, kid’s games and more!
Kenosha YMCA Halloween Party - Kenosha, WI - Oct 29, 2022
Join the Kenosha YMCA for a hallowing good time, including freaky fun food, trick or treating, a costume contest, and other spook-sensational activities for kids ages 3-12 and, of course, parents too. Free; a donation to the Kenosha YMCA’s Annual Campaign would be greatly appreciated.

Thrills and Chills - Sturgeon Bay, WI - Oct 29, 2022
The day kicks off at 10am with the annual Costume Parade down 3rd Avenue. All are welcome to participate, even friendly animals. The fun continues at the Boys and Girls Club of Door County with a Grills & Thrills Cookout fundraiser and Haunted House until 1pm. The Sturgeon Bay branch of the Door County Library will be giving away goodie bags in their lobby with the Door County Ghostbusters. Bay Shore Outfitters will be hosting their first annual Pumpkin Carving Party from 11am – 4pm on their patio. 100+ pumpkins are waiting to be turned into beautiful masterpieces. All are welcome and materials will be provided. City-wide business trick-or-treating will take place after the costume parade throughout all of downtown Sturgeon Bay. Visit both the East and West Waterfront businesses and look for the Thrills & Chills participant jack-o-lantern in business windows!
