Wisconsin Ghost Tours, Walks and Paranormal Investigations

You have reached the list of Wisconsin ghost tours that is a part of the Funtober ghost tour directory.The directory lists ghost walks, ghost hunts, trolley tours, cemetary tours, and haunted house tours that I think will be of interest to Funtober visitors.I’ve found ghost tours in both Milwaukee and Madison.

Here are the Wisconsin ghost tours that I have found:

Bayfield Heritage Tours - Bayfield, WI
They offer two different 80 minute ghost walks from June until October. Lingering spirits, UFO sightings over Lake Superior and Big Foot tales are discussed. They also offer a twilight cemetery walk during the Bayfield Apple Festival and on full moon nights. In it, you learn about tomb stone art, death and burial traditions, Bayfield residents and the tragedy which caused coffins to float in the lake. Tickets are $9-15.

Cathedral Square Ghost Walk - Milwaukee, WI
A 90 minute walking tour of Downtown Milwaukee by Gothic Milwaukee. The tour departs from Cathedral Square, at the corner of Jackson and Wells Streets. The tour proceeds at a gentle pace with frequent stops, accessible to nearly all fitness levels. Your tour guide is Anna, a collector of folkore and native Milwaukeean.

Door County Trolley - Egg Harbor, WI

Downtown West Bend Ghost Walk - West Bend, WI
A 90 minute walking ghost tour by Washington County Paranormal on select dates throughout the year. The cost is $10 per person (cash only). It covers approximately 1.2 miles and starts at the intersection of 5th Ave. and Chestnut St (near the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail). The tour is led by J. Nathan Couch, West Bend author and paranormal investigator.

Ghost Boat - Wisconsin Dells, WI
A summer season adventure filled with legend, mystery and horror with this creepy moonlit cruise to the haunted canyon. Nightly from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Green Bay Ghost Tours - Green Bay, WI
They offer bus and walking tours from May until October. Last year, the bus tour went downtown and customers were able to enter the Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley and Captains Walk Winery. The walking tour does not enter any buildings. The cost of tours is $13-17 per person.

Hangman Tours - Milwaukee, WI
Milwaukee’s quirkiest historic tours. Ghosts, cannibals, hookers, oh my! Tour options include the Shakers Original Ghost Tour, Shakers 2.0, Cream City Cannibal, the Whoring 20s and the Milwauking Dead. Tours range in price from $15-25 and starting location varies by tour.

Madison Ghost Tour - Madison, WI
a 90 minute ghost walk in the state’s capital with folklore, legends and history told along the way. The cost is $15 per person. Tours operate in September and October as well as for private groups throughout the rest of the year.

Milwaukee Ghost Tours - Milwaukee, WI
the original Milwaukee ghost tour, offering a nearly two hour walking tour of the Third Ward for $10 per person. Now an art district, it was a ghetto known as the Bloody Third in the 19th Century. Hear tales of haunted history, folklore and ghost stories.

Milwaukee’s Haunted Bar Ghost Tour - Milwaukee, WI
a tour of the Shaker’s Cigar Bar. The tour runs nightly Wednesday through Saturday and costs $15 per person. They now also have a 2.0 version of the tour that costs $25 per person. The bar is located in Milwaukee’s Historic Walker’s Point Area and was built in 1894.

Port Washington Ghost Walk - Port Washington, WI
A two part, two hour ghost walk the weekend before Halloween and Halloween weekend, led by the Caper Company. Explore the New England-style village on the shores of Lake Michigan, thirty minutes north of Milwaukee. Tours begin from the Wisconsin Chair Company historical marker at the marina by the C4 municipal parking lot (near Dockside Deli) and end in Union Cemetery. Multiple tours per night. Spirits in the Night - Janesville, WI
A new specialty tour—Spirits in the Night—is being planned by the Rock County Historical Society for this upcoming October. The tour is based on the mysterious, imaginary fates of an innocent, but cursed family in an epic Victorian-style tragedy. The attendees will discover for themselves the tangled web surrounding the family’s ultimate demise through a truly thrilling experience. It will be a three-act tour that will start in the Wilson King Stone House where the attendees will be greeted and the tragic narrative of the unfortunate family will begin to unfold. The tour will then move next door to the Lincoln-Tallman House where they will be guided through three floors of mystery, uncertainty and surprise that waits around every corner. It will finish at the “Spookeasy” in Frances Willard School House where tour members can relive the tour and relax with friends with food, beverages, and watching silent horror films. Dates for the tour will be October 6-8, 13-15, 20-22 and 27-31. Tours will start at 7:30 p.m. and run to 11:30 p.m. The cost will be $15 per person and is intended for those aged 13 years and older. The tours begin at the Wilson King Stone House (located next to the Lincoln-Tallman House) at 915 Mineral Point Rd., Janesville.
