There are a lot of ghost tours in Florida.Since so many people move to Florida during retirement, you might expect that there would be a number of ghosts there.But it is Key West and St. Augustine and Fort Lauderdale that top the ghost charts.The nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine, is number six on CNBC’s list of the 10 most haunted cities in America because of the Spanish Fort, Castillo de San Marcos, and the St. Augustine lighthouse.Fort Lauderdale is home to the Stranahan House, which Zillow called one of America’s Top 10 Haunted Homes.And Haunted America Tours put Key West on its list of the 100 most haunted places in the world.
