Iowa Ghost Tours

There are at least three Iowa ghost tours. If you are a fan of Ghost Adventures, then you should recognize one of them: the Villisca Axe Murder House. It was the location of the brutal murder of a family in 1912 and has been haunted since.

Here are the ghost tours in Iowa that I have found:

Ghost Bus Tours hosts a tour led by the Siouxland Paranormal Research Society which shares the colorful history of prominent landmarks in Sioux City, Iowa with October visitors.

Villisca Ax Murder House Tours offers daylight and overnight tours of the home that was made famous by the 1912 murders of Josiah Moore, his family and two guests.

In Des Moines, there have also been ghost tours run in the past by SRSOI and Joie De Vie Tea Salon
