The Canon 90D has been announced and will have a 32.5 megapixel Dual Pixel sensor with crop mode as well as 4K video recording. It comes with the latest Canon Digic 8 processor, enhanced metering sensor to assist in tracking with the viewfinder, and up to 10 frames per second while using the autofocus.

The 90D was announced at the same time as the Canon EOS M6 Mark II, which is a mirrorless 32.5 megapixel camera in its APS-C mirrorless line. The M6 Mark II is intended to replace both the M5 and M6, with its primary competition the Sony Alpha A6400 and Fujifilm X-T30.

The Canon EOS 90D body only is regularly priced on pre-order at $1199. The Canon 90D bundled with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens is being priced on pre-order at $1349. The other 90D bundle is the EOS 90D with an EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM camera lens for $1599. It will be released starting in mid-September.
