Fall Cotton Festivals

Bring your family to one of these great fall cotton festivals.  You know it as the fabric of our lives. It’s cotton. Spun into yarn, it is the most widely used natural fiber in clothing today. From blue jeans to underwear, you are probably wearing some cotton product right now.

You can celebrate the process from the harvest of cotton to the manufacture of cotton products at these fall festivals:

Cotton Gin Festival - Bostwick, GA - Oct 28 to Oct 28, 2023
Parade, Gin Run (5K), hayrides, arts & crafts, and food. Proceeds go toward restoration of the Susie Agnes Hotel, which is now serving as the city hall and a community center, with rooms upstairs for office rental. Parking is $5.

John Blue Cotton Festival - Laurinburg, NC - Oct 13 to Oct 14, 2023
Home tour, hayrides, crafts, pony rides, food and children’s games plus a new car and motorcycle show and live entertainment.

The Cotton Pickin’ Fair - Gay, GA - Oct 7 to Oct 8, 2023
A twice a year festival with live music, magic show, arts, antiques and Southern foods. Dates back to 1972.

Miles Cotton Fest - Miles, TX - Sep 9 to Sep 9, 2023
Enjoy brisket, arts/crafts, a concert and more in this small town in West Texas.

Corcoran Cotton Festival and Parade - Corcoran, CA - Oct 1 to Oct 1, 2022
Features a parade down Whitley Avenue, beer garden, BBQ, carnival, live music, 5k run and lots of fun.

Fayette County Cotton Festival - Somerville, TN - Sep 10 to Sep 10, 2022
Annual event at Historic Somerville Square. Live music includes blue grass, country, and southern rock. Arts & crafts, car & truck show, festival food, youth talent competition and canning & cooking contest.

Clio Cotton Festival - Clio, SC - Oct 5 to Oct 5, 2019
Canceled for 2022, looking to return in 2023. Normally: Plenty of vendors, kids games, food, crafts, entertainment, etc.
