Colon Orchards - Canon City, CO
A fourth generation farm in the Arkansas River Valley. They have pumpkin picking, 5 acre cornfield maze and hayrides (weekends). Admission is $8 per person which includes pumpkin. Additional pumpkins are $5 each. Kids five and under are free, but they are not entitled to a free pumpkin. They are open everyday starting at 9:00 AM. Their address is 3175 Grandview Ave., Canon City. It is about 43 miles southwest of Colorado Springs.

Diana’s Pumpkin Patch - Canon City, CO
Activities start late September and run weekends Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through Halloween.  Enjoy PYO pumpkins from their field and haul them back to your car in their free of charge wagons. They have a variety of small and large pumpkins, including the largest selection of heirloom and specialty pumpkins in Southern Colorado. Enjoy the 8 acre corn maze which has been losing visitors for more than ten years. It takes approximately 45 minutes to make your way through the cornfield. Bring your flashlight to try the maze at night. Admission is varies but children 5 and under are free. Paid admission includes one pumpkin and a variety of farm fun including corn bin, hay slide and duck races. Their address is 1649 Poplar Ave., Canon City, CO.

Ferrara’s Happy Apple Farm - Penrose, CO
They are open Wednesday through Sunday. Admission, hayrides and apple bags are free. They are growing more than five varieties of apples available for you-pick. They also have a pumpkin patch. Country Store includes delicious baked goods, including fresh apple pie, and other products. They are located about 30 miles south of Colorado Springs.

Happy Apple Farm - Penrose, CO
Pick your own apples, pumpkins, and blackberries. Their country store also has fresh baked apple pies and other baked goods, plus jams, jellies, and other canned goods, and they offer a hayride.

Pick your own apples and pumpkins, plus prepicked apples and peaches. They are located about 30 miles south of Colorado Springs.

The pumpkin patch opens to the public in middle of September.  A 5 acre u-pick apple orchard with more than 40 varieties of apples. They also have pick your own pumpkins starting in September on their 1/2 acre pumpkin field. No admission charge and no amusement rides or other “entertainment.” They have picnic tables so pack a lunch if you wish. Their address is 935 3rd Street, Penrose, CO 81240. It is about 31 miles south of Colorado Springs.

Wishing Star Farm - Calhan, CO
The farm is open to the public from September 19th through October 31st.  Their fall festival includes pumpkin picking right from the field and hay wagon rides. Pumpkins are $3 which includes hay ride. Take a train ride on the Pumpkin Blossom Railroad. Meet a camel and feed the farm animals in the petting zoo. Pony rides await young cowboys and cowgirls. Other available farm fun includes the hay stack, slide, duck races, tire jungle and pumpkin painting. Harvest Store has pumpkin rolls, baked goods and other food and collectibles for sale. Open Thursday through Sunday from late September through early November. General admission to the farm is $8 per person for ages two and up. Their address is 24024 State Highway 94, Calhan, Colorado. It is about 23 miles east of Colorado Springs.
