Appleumpkin Festival - Tecumseh, MI - Oct 14 to Oct 15, 2023
Anual event with midway rides, carnival games, make your own scarecrow, arts and crafts, flea market and more! Live entertainment performances on the Pearl Street stage. Also enjoy the nearby Kapnick Orchards Apple Festival.

Fiber Expo - Ann Arbor, MI - Oct 7 to Oct 8, 2023
The biennial event returns once again with all manners of fiber (wool, alpaca, linen, cotton and more) from the plant or animal all the way through the finished product! Admission is cash only, $4 for one day or $6 for both, with children 12 and under free!

Glass Pumpkin Fest - Dearborn, MI - Oct 7 to Oct 17, 2023
First weekend is held in Ann Arbor (117 E Ann Street in Kerrytown District). Second weekend is held in their Dearborn workshop. Watch glassblowing demonstrations and commission the perfect pumpkin you’ve always wanted! Free admission.

The Victorian Festival is a three-day celebration that opens with the Victorian Parade on Friday evening and continues through Saturday and Sunday with some of the festival’s most popular features. This includes live music, a Victorian Saloon, theatrical performances, Victorian-era reenactors, educational presentations, craft vendors, duck races, a Victorian-era church service, and much more.

In honor of Chad Carr and other DIPG patients, a family friendly 5k and 1k fun run either in Saline MI, Allendale MI, Toledo OH or Virtually (you pick the place and the date). Proceeds go the ChadTough Foundation, whose mission is to fund research and raise awareness for pediatric brain cancer with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). As we grew up in Michigan and attended U-Michigan (Rob & Jayne) where Chad’s grandfather coached football, this one is special to our family and hope your family has fun participating!
