Texas State Forest Festival - Lufkin, TX - Sep 14 to Sep 17, 2023
Kick off parade followed by competitions, carnival, and live entertainment. Competitions include a hush puppy festival, so if you’ve got the secret ingredient for the best hushpuppies, enter for your chance to win! The carnival operates on a wristband basis, with wristband prices between $20-$25/day.

Groves Pecan Festival - Groves, TX - Sep 23 to Oct 15, 2023

Oktoberfest Houston - Houston, TX - Sep 30 to Sep 30, 2023
Head to Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park for Houston’s only Beer Fest with a German twist. Put on your Lederhosen and Dirndls and enjoy a variety of German and Craft beer with some of the best polka music in Texas. Portion of proceeds to benefit local non-profit, Play for Life Houston.

The 72nd Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 9 a.m. Located in the heart of downtown Houston, this event is one of the oldest Thanksgiving Day parades in the country. Each year, several hundred thousand Houstonians line the streets to cheer on participants. The parade will traverse over 20 city blocks and will feature elaborate floats, colorful marching bands, high-flying balloons and other uniquely Houston entries.
