St Paul’s Kirchenfest - Highland, IL - Aug 23 to Aug 25, 2019
Kirchenfest, which is German for Church Festival, is one of the largest church festivals in Southern Illinois with the event spreading over six acres on the grounds of St. Paul Parish. Beginning in 1970, the festival has a German theme, as the Highland community is primarily Swiss and German heritage. This two-day festival offers something for everyone – food (including a Bavarian skillet dish prepared by a 500 pound skillet and a sit-down chicken dinner), live music, games, live auction, flea market, a competitive run, bike ride and much more!

Alton Food Truck Festival - Alton, IL - Aug 24 to Aug 24, 2019
Live musical entertainment accompanies food trucks from around the region with global street food options. Free with optional VIP ticket for closer parking and complimentary drink tickets

Japanese Festival - St Louis, MO - Aug 31 to Sep 2, 2019
One of the oldest and largest festivals of its kind in America. Celebrates the culture, history and people of Japan with art, food, dance, and entertainment. Produced by the Missouri Botanical Garden and local Japanese-American organizations, since 1977.

Eureka Days - Eureka, MO - Sep 6 to Sep 8, 2019
Lots of carnival rides, children’s activities, over 80 vendors, a beer garden, and a parade. Saturday ends with fireworks.

Saint Louis Art Fair - Clayton, MO - Sep 6 to Sep 8, 2019

Street Art Festival - Highland, IL - Sep 21 to Sep 21, 2019
Visitors can stroll the streets watching artists create masterpieces right on the pavement using chalks. There is also a Creative Kids Corner with lots of activities for young, aspiring artists! An Arts Expo features several local artists and there will be live music and great food.

Mississippi Earthtones Festival - Alton, IL - Sep 21 to Sep 21, 2019
Come celebrate life on the Mississippi River through art, music, and conservation! The event will kick-off with a river clean-up beginning at 9 am. The festival is part of a statewide celebration of the rivers and an opportunity to learn more about the environmental issues in the region and solutions. The festival features informational booths on ecology, native plants & animals, and recycling, as well as nature-inspired, artisan-made wares, kids activities, a great selection of local food & beverages, and a scavenger hunt. Free fun for the entire family! Wind-powered music will fill the air throughout the day, culminating with live entertainment from 7 pm – 10 pm.

Louisiana Country Colorfest - Louisiana, MO - Oct 19 to Oct 20, 2019

Kimmswick Applebutter Festival - Imperial, MO - Oct 26 to Oct 27, 2019
More than 100,000 visitors annually. Help stir the apple butter, live musical entertainment in the par, more than 500 food, drink & craft vendors line the streets plus, for kids, a miniature train, petting zoo and pony rides. Park at the Windsor School and catch the bus downtown, as streets will be closed during festival hours.
