St Paul’s Kirchenfest - Highland, IL - Aug 21 to Aug 23, 2020
Kirchenfest, which is German for Church Festival, is one of the largest church festivals in Southern Illinois with the event spreading over six acres on the grounds of St. Paul Parish. Beginning in 1970, the festival has a German theme, as the Highland community is primarily Swiss and German heritage. This two-day festival offers something for everyone – food (including a Bavarian skillet dish prepared by a 500 pound skillet and a sit-down chicken dinner), live music, games, live auction, flea market, a competitive run, bike ride and much more!

Mississippi Earthtones Festival - Alton, IL - Sep 19 to Sep 19, 2020
Come celebrate life on the Mississippi River through art, music, and conservation! The event will kick-off with a river clean-up beginning at 9 am. The festival is part of a statewide celebration of the rivers and an opportunity to learn more about the environmental issues in the region and solutions. The festival features informational booths on ecology, native plants & animals, and recycling, as well as nature-inspired, artisan-made wares, kids activities, a great selection of local food & beverages, and a scavenger hunt. Free fun for the entire family! Wind-powered music will fill the air throughout the day, culminating with live entertainment from 7 pm – 10 pm.

O’Fallon Fall Into the Arts Fest - O'Fallon, MO - Sep 20 to Sep 20, 2020
Held at City of O’Fallon’s newest park, O’Day Park (opened Spring 2019), up to 30 artists will be on-hand to exhibit and sell their work. Also featured is craft beer and wine tastings, artisan food vendors and live music at O’Day Ampitheater. This event is free and open to the public.

Kimmswick Applebutter Festival - Imperial, MO - Oct 24 to Oct 25, 2020
More than 100,000 visitors annually. Help stir the apple butter, live musical entertainment in the par, more than 500 food, drink & craft vendors line the streets plus, for kids, a miniature train, petting zoo and pony rides. Park at the Windsor School and catch the bus downtown, as streets will be closed during festival hours.
