Eastern Shore Jubilee Festival - Daphne, AL - Sep 28 to Sep 29, 2019
This festival celebrates the fine arts culture of the area. You’ll experience art in many forms: culinary art, fine art, kids’ art, performance art and an eclectic mix of talent we call Southern Makers.” They also welcome amateur and professional chefs seeking to qualify for the World Food Championships! It is also one of the few places in the world to experience the natural phenomenon of a jubilee.

Alabama Coastal BirdFest - Fairhope, AL - Oct 2 to Oct 5, 2019
Great for birders of all experience levels, with lots of workshops, speakers, trips, conservation Expo, and more. Various venues across Baldwin and Mobile counties will host, and workshops will be held at Five Rivers Delta Center.

National Shrimp Festival - Gulf Shores, AL - Oct 10 to Oct 13, 2019
Fresh from the Gulf seafood during this four-day event that attracts over 300,000 people. More than 80 hours of musical entertainment featuring a lineup of national, regional and local acts with blues, Motown, southern rock, jazz, zydeco and country. 50 local and regional vendors have food lining the boardwalk at the public beach with mouth-watering delights. 200 pounds of shrimp per day will be prepared by some of the area’s best chefs in their award-winning recipes and given away for people to sample at different tasting times that will be posted on the outside of the sponsor tent. Activities this year include Outdoor World and Singing for Scholarships. Families can enter the Annual Sand Sculpture Contest on Saturday. Kids can take part in the Children’s Activity Village, including face-painting, karaoke and much more. Runners and walkers can enter the 10K and 5K races. Art lovers will have almost 200 booths of fine art and arts and crafts vendors.

World Food Championships - Orange Beach, AL - Oct 16 to Oct 20, 2019
An international cooking competition with top chefs and home cooks taking home prizes of approximately $300,000. Elite Qualifiers include PorktoberQue and Atlanta’s Burger Wars.

Evergreen Sausage Festival - Evergreen, AL - Oct 19 to Oct 19, 2019
A bbq cook-off and arts/crafts event. Local and regional live music all day. Children’s area with slides, bounce castle, rock climbing wall, exotic petting zoo including pony rides and camel rides. Admission is free. There will be a small fee for the animal attractions.

Greater Gulf State Fair - Mobile, AL - Oct 25 to Nov 3, 2019
A fair for residents of South Alabama, Northwest Florida and Southeast Mississippi that was started in 1955 by the Mobile Jaycees.

Elberta German Sausage Festival - Elberta, AL - Oct 26 to Oct 26, 2019
A bi-annual fundraiser that benefits the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department. The festival is held on the last Saturday of March and last Saturday of October. The fire department sells nearly 6,000 pounds of sausage and boasts nearly 30,000 visitors each festival. The festival is located in the Town Park in Elberta, AL. The park is right off of US HWY 98 at Chicago St. They have over 200 booth spaces and over 100 arts and crafts vendors. Admission is FREE!

Fairhope Veterans Day Parade - Fairhope, AL - Nov 9 to Nov 9, 2019
Parade typically start at 10 a.m. with start/destination at the Fairhope Civic Center. Leading the parade will be Fairhope’s Veteran of the Year. The celebration continues in Henry George Park where a sunset prayer service will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial, Tears of Sorry, Tears of Joy.
