Matsuricon is an annual Japanese pop-culture event that focuses primarily on Japanese animation (known as “anime”), manga (Japanese graphic novels), and video games. They also showcase both American and Japanese popular culture, due to the natural overlap of fandom from both genres. Family friendly event with some 18+ events
Sweet Corn Fest - Millersport, OH - Aug 30 to Sep 2, 2023
Enjoy hot buttered sweet corn, midway, tractor pulls, square dancing, contests, 5K run, country crafts, parade. Proceeds benefit 75 non-profit charitable organizations. Located 25 miles east of Columbus.
Columbus Greek Festival - Columbus, OH - Sep 1 to Sep 4, 2023

Chili Cook-Off Festival and Hoopla Parade - Urbana, OH - Sep 23 to Sep 23, 2023
Join the festivities which will include sampling contestant’s chili, a cornhole tournament, jalapeno eating contest, dunk tank, and the “suck, chew, and blow” contest.The Parade, featuring the Antioch Shriners, begins at 12:00 pm, live entertainment with live entertainment at 1:30 pm and chili sampling at 2:00 . A variety of food and craft vendors fill the streets – a day of fun for the entire family! The event is free, but, there is a fee for entering the competition.
