Rochester Fall Festivals 2019

New York State Festival of Balloons - Dansville, NY - Aug 29 to Sep 2, 2019
Over 35,000 attend this festival starting with the free balloon GLOW on Thursday night. Festival has six scheduled balloon launches, international food court, free entertainment, rides and amusements, car show, and craft vendors.

M & T Bank Clothesline Festival - Rochester, NY - Sep 7 to Sep 8, 2019
Rochester’s longest-running (nearly 60 years) and largest fine art & crafts festival, with almost 400 artists and over 20,000 annual visitors. Enjoy all day live entertainment, sample food and drink, crafts, museum visit, and Gallery Store.

Macedon Center Lumberjack Festival - Macedon, NY - Sep 7 to Sep 8, 2019
Amateur Lumberjack competition on Saturday includes log rolling, two-man cross cut, buck saw, chain saw, log chop and fire starting. Sunday is the pro competition with ax throwing, hot saw, two man crosscut, spring board and more. Also has Lumberjack pancake breakfast, petting zoo with pony rides, craft and collectibles sale. Held at the Firemen’s Field on Canandaigua Road. Parking is free and handicapped accessible. Admission is only $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for sr. citizens, $1.00 for kids 6-14 and 5 and under are free. It is sponsored by the Macedon Center Fire Dept. and the Macedon Center United Methodist Church.

Rochester Fringe Festival - Rochester, NY - Sep 10 to Sep 21, 2019
Twelve days with over 550 performances attended by over 60,000 people make this a popular annual event. Festival has theatre, music, dance, children’s entertainment, visual arts and lots more. Multiple venues in Rochester’s East End participate.

Finger Lakes Fiber Arts Festival - Hemlock, NY - Sep 21 to Sep 22, 2019
Held at Hemlock Fairgrounds, with plenty of vendors selling everything you need for different fiber arts (including roving, spinning, needle felting, knitting and crochet, weaving, plus dyes and yarn), plus one-of-a-kind finished items, in addition to demonstrations and workshops.
