New Mexico Comic Expo - Albuquerque, NM - Aug 9 to Aug 11, 2024
Held at Albuquerque Convention Center

Gila River Festival - Silver City, NM - Sep 27 to Sep 29, 2024
Explore the future of the Gila River in relation to the changing climate, as well as our responsibility to act as responsible earth stewards, with keynote speaker activisit Tim DeChristopher and many renowned presenters.

Red River Oktoberfest - Red River, NM - Oct 11 to Oct 13, 2024
Authentic German food, craft beers & New Mexico wines. A themed “Mega Mustache” pub crawl takes you to participating bars with beer and food specials. Brewery contest awards Best Amber, Best Lager and People’s Choice to attending brewers. Miss and Mr Oktoberfest competitions feature stein holding and obstacle course. There is also a keg karry contest for men, where they carry full kegs from Brandenburg Park to the Bull o’ the Woods Saloon. Ladies carry pony kegs. Bratwurst buffet upon completion of keg karry. You will also find the chicken dance, yodeling and brat eating. There’s live music, arts & crafts vendors, and family friendly activities, too. Admission is $5. Commemorative taster mug or stein glass is available. Location: 101 West Main Street, Red River, NM

Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival – Thanksgiving Holiday Show - Albuquerque, NM - Nov 23, 2023
Indoor festival at Expo NM Fairgrounds. Arts & crafts, live entertainment, food sampling, artists at work, and Santa Claus. One day pass is $8. Admission for the entire weekend is $12.

Albuquerque Tango Festival - Albuquerque, NM - Nov 2 to Nov 5, 2023
Hundreds of dancers enjoy world class DJs and instruction in this classic dance form. Three days of group classes on giant main dance floor.

Taos Mountain Balloon Rally - Taos, NM - Oct 27 to Oct 29, 2023
A weekend of hot air balloons amid the fall colors in New Mexico. Typically hosts 35-50 balloons and crews.

Santa Fe Independent Film Festival - Santa Fe, NM - Oct 18 to Oct 22, 2023
Brings the latest independent films and directors, Native cinema, New Mexico films, student films, and masters discussions to several venues in Santa Fe.

New Mexico Brew Fest - Albuquerque, NM - Oct 14, 2023
Established in 2010, the New Mexico Brew Fest has grown into craft beer lovers favorite fall festivals in New Mexico and the Southwest Held during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in early October, NMBF always draws a few thousand thirsty craft beer lovers convening for a full day of beer sampling, live music, local food and craft beer camaraderie.

Harvest festival includes pie contest, live music, raffle,  health fair, vendors and more. Held at San Lorenzo Elementary School.

Wool Festival at Taos - Taos, NM - Oct 7 to Oct 8, 2023
Wool market, live animals, demonstrations, workshops, contests, food vendors, kid’s activities and more. Held in Kit Carson Park and sponsored by the Mountain and Valley Wool Association.

Food, dancing demonstrations, fine art and gifts to celebrate Greek culture.

Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival: Balloon Fiesta Show - Albuquerque, NM - Oct 6 to Oct 15, 2023
An arts & crafts festival with 225 juried artists during the International Balloon Fiesta, plus live music, culinary arts tent, artists demonstrations, a Kids’ Creation Station and more. Tickets are available at the door, $10 for a day pass; $16 for a festival pass (good both weekends); and $35 for a Grande Pass, good to all Rio Grande Art festivals, including the Holiday show in November, plus free parking. Kids 12 and under are free.

Corrales Harvest Festival - Corrales, NM - Sep 30 to Oct 1, 2023
Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Corrales, proceeds are re-invested into children’s programs in the community. Enjoy a fun run, pet parade, pony promenade, dancing and dance performances. Since 1985.

La Vina Winery Fall Harvest Festival - Anthony, NM - Sep 30 to Oct 1, 2023
Taste and purchase more than 20 wines from noon to 7 PM. Adult admission is $20 which includes souvenir glass and choice of 9 wines. $10 admission for ages 12-20 years old.

Ruidoso Oktoberfest - Ruidoso, NM - Sep 30, 2023
2022 was Downshift Brewing’s inaugural event after Ruidoso’s long standing former Oktoberfest comes to an end. Enjoy beer, German food, live music all day, and lots of fun for the whole family, including popular activities like stein hoisting and the chicken dance.

Annual event for 25+ years. Wine seminars, cooking demos, tastings, bike ride, golf classic and more.

Globalquerque - Albuquerque, NM - Sep 23, 2023
2023: One night event during a refresh year. Normally: Enjoy music and dance at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Global village of crafts, culture and cuisine.

Santa Fe Renaissance Fair - Santa Fe, NM - Sep 16 to Sep 17, 2023
Travel back in time to go on a knight’s quest, ride in a Spanish Galleon (and other kids activities/games), learn about Renaissance arts and sciences, enjoy amazing performances and delicious food and craft vendors, Celtic games, sword fighting, belly dancing, other live entertainment and more, at New Mexico’s premier Renaissance Fair.

Taos Ski Valley Oktoberfest - Taos, NM - Sep 16 to Sep 17, 2023
Visit the Bavarian Restaurant on Saturday & Sunday for the Oktoberfest Celebration. This is a FREE event for all ages. Authentic Schuplatter band, German beer and food, activities and crafts for kids, yodeling contest, alpenhorn blowing contests and more.

Taos Fall Arts Festival - Taos, NM - Sep 6 to Sep 17, 2023
See the works of 250+ Taos County artists, plus film festival, youth art show, demonstrations and more.This is the oldest art festival in Taos, first held in 1974.

Fiesta de Santa Fe - Santa Fe, NM - Sep 2 to Sep 10, 2023
Commemorates Don Diego De Vargas peaceful reoccupation of the City of Holy Faith in 1692. A whole week of various events, including live entertainment, burning of Zozobra (a bogeyman marionette), fine arts & crafts market, mariachi with dancing, mariachi concert, fiesta, food booths, pet parade, and more! 20rh annual. Fun for all ages, with storytelling, puppet shoes, crafts, archery, food and more!

Hatch Chile Festival - Hatch, NM - Sep 1 to Sep 3, 2023
More than 30,000 attend this Labor Day weekend festival to sample chile recipes, shop from artisan and food booths, watch crowning of the chile festival queen or participate in the chile ristra contest.  Lots of kids activities including a carnival. $10 per carload
