Fall Ohio Festivals in 2015
Discover fall fun at festivals around Ohio this September and October. We have listed dates for more than 25 events in 2015 and are tracking approximately 20 more things to do this Autumn. We have done our best to find music, art, food and harvest festivals around the state, including options near Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. From street fairs to pumpkin festivals, they offer a great way to get out and enjoy the weather before winter sets in. Sweet Corn Fest – Millersport, OH - September 2-5, 2015
Enjoy hot buttered sweet corn, midway, tractor pulls, square dancing, contests, 5K run, country crafts, parade. Proceeds benefit 75 non-profit charitable organizations. Located 25 miles east of Columbus.
River Days – Portsmouth, OH - September 3-7, 2015
Runs from the Thursday before Labor Day through Labor Day. Entertainment on the riverfront stage, arts and crafts, pageant, midway rides and plenty of festival food. Fireworks on Sunday evening. Antique and Collector Car Show on Monday.
Milan Melon Festival – Milan, OH – September 5-7, 2015
57th annual event. Parade, beautiful baby contest and other entertainment.
Cleveland National Air Show – Cleveland, OH – September 5-7, 2015
Tour aircraft, pack a parachute, watch aerial displays and kids zone.
Labor Day Festival – Canal Winchester, OH - September 5-7, 2015
Attracts over 40,000 visitors annually. Beauty pageant, car show, rides, games, craft vendors, food and entertainment.
Popcorn Festival – Marion, OH - September 10-12, 2015
Attracts crowds in excess of 250,000. Parade, rides, cornhole tournament, fine arts show and entertainment.
Columbus Greek Festival – Sept 4-7, 2015
Live Greek for a weekend at this 43rd annual event. Shopping, food, drink, dancing, music and culture. Adult admission is $5 and is good for the entire weekend. Held at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Ohio River Sternwheel Festival – Marietta – Sept 11-13, 2015
The 40th annual event will be held at the Ohio River Levee on the corner of Front and Greene Streets. Pageant, fireworks, live music and riverboats, of course. Events are free.
Beaver Creek Popcorn Festival – Sept 12-13, 2015
Annual event celebrating popcorn the weekend after Labor Day. Food, crafts, 5k popcorn run, live music, karaoke contest, car show and more.
Village Peddler Festival – Sept 19-20, 2015
Outdoor marketplace with arts and crafts at the Lake Metroparks Farmpark. Free wagon rides, folk musicians and tasty food. Free parking. Adult admission is $7.
Salt Creek Valley Festival – Richmondale, OH – Sept 11-13, 2015
Food, craft vendors, live entertainment and more.
Cleveland Garlic Festival Cleveland, OH – September 12-13, 2015
Live bands, Top Chef Grill Off Competition, parade, pageant, and opening preview party. Kids activities including rock climbing, tastings, garlic growing, and chalk art classes.
Jackson Apple Festival – Jackson, OH – September 22-25, 2015
75th annual event. Parades, pageant, apple butter making and more.
Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival – Tiffin, OH – September 18-20, 2015
37th year of Ohio’s 8th largest festival. Family entertainment includes music, amusement rides, pageant, food and children activities.
Glendale Street Fair – Glendale, OH – September 26, 2015
Bellville Street Fair – Bellville OH – September 16-19, 2015
165th annual event. Exhibits, shows, rides, free entertainment. Pageant, livestock shows, horse show, truck & tractor pull.
Midpoint Music Fest – Cincinnati, OH – September 24-26, 2015
About 30,000 annually attend this event that started as an independent music festival and industry conference in 2002.

Ohio Swiss Festival – Sugarcreek, OH – October 2-3, 2015
Everything Swiss from cheese to alphorns, singers and plenty of polka. Kid’s Big Wheel Race, People’s Choice Swiss Cheese Judging and Eating Contest, Swiss Cheese Auction, Festival Queen, Marching Band, Kiddies Parade, 5K & 10K runs, Antique Car Parade, Steinstossen competition and more.
Big Beers & Barley Wines – Dayton, OH – October 3, 2015
Craft beer festival with some of the best and rarest beers in Ohio. Located at the historic Roundhouse at the Montgomery Co. Fairgrounds.
Circleville Pumpkin Show – Circleville, OH – October 21-24, 2015
100,000 attend this event daily. Always the 3rd Wednesday through Saturday in October. Giant pumpkins, parades, Miss Pumpkin Show & Little Miss Pumpkin Show, amusement rides, food vendors, crafts and games.
Oak Harbor Apple Festival – Oak Harbor, OH – October 10-11, 2015
37th annual event with attendance of 25,000+. Parade, kiddie tractor pulling contest, talent show, bingo, classic car show, 5K apple run, 1 mile kid’s run, live bands and a beer tent.
Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival – Jefferson, OH – Oct 10-11, 2015
32nd annual event. Drive yourself tours, parade, quilt show, crafts, farmers market, kids’ rides/games, contests and other entertainment. $5 parking fee per car.
Chagrin Documentary Film Fest – Oct 7-11, 2015
A five day celebration of documentary films. 6th annual event.

Exciting Entertainment, Music, Shows, Exhibits! – Be amazed at “Exploding Pumpkins” demos by Great Lakes Science Center, enjoy the Red Hackle Bagpipers & Drums, listen to folk-music by River City Trouble Band, tour University Hospitals’ Family Health & Safety Booth, meet the Baldwin Wallace Fairy Tale Princess Palooza, watch shows and navigate the Obstacle Course by Little Gym, make Kiddie Crafts with Pat Catan’s have some hands-on fun at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland display, see Cleveland Aquarium’s Captain Neo, view Antique Fire Engine & more!The festival benefits the Campership Fund for Kids.
