Fall Washington Festivals in 2015
As you can see from the list, there are a ton of fall festivals in Seattle, WA to look forward to in September and October 2015. Celebrate local culture, foods and music in Washington State at one of these events. They offer plenty of things to do to enjoy autumn in the Pacific Northwest.

Bumbershoot – Seattle, WA – September 5-7, 2015. A music and arts festival in Seattle since 1971. 43rd annual event is held the first weekend in September (Labor Day Weekend). It is located downtown at the Seattle Center.
Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival – Sept 11-13, 2015. Food, fun and a firework show. Parade down Harbour Point Blvd, 50 juried artist booths, live music and dance groups. Admission is free. Activities are at Lighthouse Park.
Spokane County Interstate Fair – Sept 11-20, 2015. Almost 200,000 attended the fair last year. Rodeo, carnival & rides, fair food, live music, demolition derby and more. Advance adult admission is $7, kids/seniors are $5. At the gate, adults are $10, seniors and kids ages 7-13 are $7.
Washington State Fair – September 11-27, 2015
Rodeo, rides, fine art show, animal exhibits, food, shopping and kids’ games. Concert series includes Keith Urban, Ann & Nancy Wilson, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
The Slime Run – Carnation, WA – Sept 12, 2015
Beat the Blerch Marathon – Carnation, WA – Sept 12-13, 2015. 2nd year. 10k, half marathon, and full marathon inspired by a comic about running.
Tough Mudder – Bloack Diamond, WA – Sept 19-20, 2015. An intense, team obstacle course near Seattle. Located at Palmer Coking Coal Company.
Whidbey Island Kite Festival – Coupeville, WA – September 19-20, 2015. Join in kids’ kitemaking, lessons, kite demonstrations, and Sport Kite Championship events.
Decibel Festival – Seattle, WA – September 23-27, 2015. Seattle’s five day electronic music festival.
Valleyfest – Spokane Valley – Sept 25-27, 2015. Festival with parade, car show, fishing at the falls, pancake breakfast, run for a cause, live music and more. Located at Mirabeau Point Park CenterPlace Regional Event Center.
Port Townsend Film Festival – Sept 25-27, 2015. Over 80+ films in eight theatres over three days. Venues are in the walkable National Historic District. Passes available starting at $35.
Italian Festival – Seattle – Sept 26-27, 2015. The 28th annual event to celebrate Italian culture at the Seattle Center. Grape stomp, car show, bocce and Italian food.
Everett Sausage Festival – Everett, WA – October 2-4, 2015. Bavarian themed fair on the first weekend in October. 39th annual event. Carnival, food booths and Bavarian Beer Garden. Supports Catholic Education at Immaculate Conception/Our Lady of Perpetual Help School.
CroatiaFest – Seattle – October 4, 2015. The 12th annual event held at the Seattle Center Armory. A celebration of Croatian heritage and culture. Music and dance performances, authentic food booths, cooking demonstrations, marketplace and more.
Oysterfest – Shelton, WA – October 3-4, 2015. The 34th annual event with West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship & Washington State Seafood Festival. Food pavilion, live music, microbrews and more on the first weekend in October.
Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival – Port Angeles, WA – - October 9-11, 2015. Enjoy the foods of the Olympic Peninsula with a Friday night community crab feed. Grab-a-crab tank derby, 5-K fun run/walk, and Crab Revival (breakfast with gospel music).
Cranberrian Fair – Ilwaco – October 10-11, 2015. Hosted during the cranberry harvest on the second weekend in October. Bog tours, crafts, food and music to celebrate the harvest. Admission to the events at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum is covered by purchase of a $5 collectible button. The Cranberry Museum is free. The Cranberry Trolley transports visitors between the two locations.
Eatonville Fall Fest – Oct 3, 2015. The 5th annual event at the Eatonville High School Commons. Bring a non-perishable food item, eyeglasses or medical supplies to donate.
Earshot Jazz Festival – Seattle, WA – Oct 9 – Nov 14, 2015. Over 50 concerts and events in venues all around the city.
GeekGirlCon – Seattle, WA – October 10-11, 2015. Celebrate your inner geekdom.
Incredible Feast – Seattle, WA – October 11, 2015. A benefit for the Good Farmer Fund and the Neighborhood Farmers Market. 24 chefs are paired with farmers to create tasting samples for guests.
Eatonville Salmon Festival – October 17, 2015. Family friendly activities at Mill Pond Park hosted by the Nisqually Tribe. Celebrate the spawning salmon in the Mashel River.
Seattle Super – October 17, 2015. An 8+ mile / 20+ obstacle team race. Located at Meadow Wood Ranch, 18601 Sky Meadows Lane, Snohomish, WA.
TurkFest – Seattle – October 17-18, 2015. A cultural festival celebrating Turkish heritage with coffee, marketplace, live music, art, performances, activities, good and games.
Seattle Startup Week – October 19-23, 2015. A free, 5 day entrepreneurship community event.
Enumclaw Brew Fest- Enumclaw, WA – October 23-24, 2015. Exciting festival featuring live music, delicious food, game tournaments, beer pong, corn hole & washers. Local brewers. Tickets for admission are $10 which includes 2 brewlicious tastes. Additional tastes are $1. Sessions are 3.5 hours. Free parking. Location: Enumclaw Expo Center, 45524 284th Ave SE, Enumclaw, WA
KiSCon 2015 – Seattle, WA – Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2015. A celebration and fan fest of all things Star Trek. One of the largest Trek conventions in the country. Help celebrate 50 years of Star Trek.
Hmong New Year Celebration – Seattle – November 7, 2015. A cultural celebration of the Hmong New Year through live performances, visual arts, activities, food, games and a marketplace.
Veterans Day Parade – Auburn, WA – Nov 7, 2015. The 50th anniversary parade and one of the largest parades in the United States. Located at Auburn Main Street.
Seattle Slack Key Festival – Nov 8, 2015. Features Hawaii Master Musicians at the Town Hall Theater.
Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival – Puyallup, WA – Nov 12-14, 2015
BurlyCon – Seattle, WA – Nov 12-15, 2015. An annual burlesque social and educational convention.
Garden d’Lights – Starts Nov 28, 2015. Holiday light show at the Bellevue Botanical Garden
Seattle Marathon – November 29, 2015. An annual run held from the Seattle Center at 5th and Harrison.

A free family friendly festival celebrating their 11th anniversary. They feature live music, cooking demonstrations, 75 vendors, a bike and pet parade, and lots of kids games and fun. They are big on recycling and feature workshops and demonstrations.
