Fall Pennsylvania Festivals in 2015
We currently have listed dates for more than 40 fall festivals in PA in 2015. That is more than we have in most other states. So if you live in or near Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, you are in luck. There is probably a number of things to do this autumn that you can pack into your calendar. If you don’t find the right food or beer festival for your taste on this list, don’t forget to also check out the celebrations of Oktoberfest in PA. There are now quite a few German festival options on that list as well. If we are missing any festivals, please let us know!

Lancaster Craft Beer Fest – Lancaster, PA – August 29, 2015
3rd annual event. The beer garden is the block surrounding Lancaster Square and Binns Park. 30+ breweries and 70+ beers. Food court, vendors and live music.
Kennett Square Mushroom Festival – Kennett Square, PA – September 12-13, 2015
30th annual event in the Mushroom Capital of the World. Held on the weekend after Labor Day. Attendance is estimated at up to 100,000 guests.
Taste of Hamburg-er – Hamburg, PA - September 5, 2015
12th annual event. Burger stands, other grub, live music, arts/crafts, and competitions including burger eating contests, mooing contest, Dine and Dash Burgers and Trail Race and more.
Pocono Garlic Festival – Shawnee, PA – September 5-6, 2015
35 garlic stations of food to try at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. 10 AM to 6 PM. Advance ticket sales are from May until early September. Arts & crafts, entertainment, garlic eating contest, chopped garlic cooking competition and children’s area with petting zoo and more entertainment.
Schuylkill Wine Festival – Hegins, PA – September 6, 2015
Local winery tasting, live entertainment, table decorating contest and more. The theme for 2015 is “fall fantasy”. Tickets are $12 (advanced) and $15 (gate). Admission includes wine tasting bracelet, glass, chance to win a wine basket
Polish American Festival – Doylestown, PA - Sept 5-7 & 12-13, 2015
The 50th annual festival runs from noon to 8 PM. Admission is $12 per person, which includes unlimited midway rides but not extreme rides. Crafter’s Village will have handmade items such as jewelry, quilts, dolls, toys, bags, children’s clothes and decorations. Polish and American food including Pierogi, Potato Placki, Grilled Kielbasa, and Golabki. Two stages of entertainment with live music, dancing and more.
Chili Pepper Festival – Bowers, PA - September 11-12, 2015
20th annual event. Jalapeno eating contest, salsa contest, field excursion, live music and more. Admission by suggested donation.
Northern Appalachian Folk Festival – Indiana, PA – September 11-12, 2015
Dedicated to preserving the music, art and culture of the Northern Appalachian region. Kid’s Alley includes carnival games, arts & crafts, square dancing and more.
Milton Harvest Festival – Milton, PA – September 11-19, 2015
A tradition since 1977. Parades, pageant, 28 mile bike race, scarecrow contests, 5K run, arts & crafts.
Haverford Music Festival – Havertown, PA – September 12, 2015
A family music festival that serves as the primary fundraiser for the Haverford Township Civic Council.
Taste of Dormont – Dormont, PA – September 12, 2015
Sample foods from local restaurants and try PA wines and beers. Music from the Good Guys Duo. Hours are 5 – 9:30 PM. Tickets are $32.50 per person.
Pennsylvania Endless Mountains Fiber Festival – Harford, PA – September 12-13, 2015
Breed display, free demonstrations, workshops, contests and silent auction.
Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival – Gettysburg, PA – September 12-13, 2015
Live music, art, food and wines from 25 different PA wineries. Located at the Gateway Gettysburg Complex
New Bethlehem Peanut Butter Festival – New Bethlehem, PA – September 18-20, 2015
Located at Gumtown Park. Carnival, Mountain Bike Race, 5K Race, Health Walk, Parade, Classic Car Cruise, Tractor Show, Motorcycle Rally and Stage Entertainment. Free admission.
Peddler’s Village Scarecrow Festival – Lahaska, PA – September 19-20, 2015
A weekend of family fun including scarecrow competition, scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin pie-eating contests, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment and children’s activities. Free admission and parking. Workshop Fee is $30 per scarecrow with a maximum of 4 people per scarecrow.10 AM – 6 PM.
PA Sweet Potato Festival – Stewartstown, PA – September 26, 2015
14th annual event held at The Wellness Farm from 11 AM until 6 PM. Dig your own sweet potatoes. Contests, games and lots of festival food made from sweet potatoes. Adult admission is $3.
Pippinfest – Fairfield, PA - September 26-27, 2015
Community yard sale on Saturday. Sunday has a drive-in car show, swap meet, quilt show, pottery display, food, music and more. Free admission and free parking.
Downingtown FallFest – Downingtown, PA – September 27, 2015
Beer garden, BMX show, food and craft vendors, and more.
Bloomsburg Fair – Bloomsburg, PA – September 26 – October 3, 2015
The 160th annual event will be one of the largest agricultural fairs on the east coast. Total attendance topped 400,000 in 2014. Livestock, antique tractor pull, carnival, horse racing, carriage rides and more.

Ebensburg Potato Fest – Edensburg, PA – September 26, 2015
24th annual event celebrating Cambria County potatoes. Arts, crafts, live music, entertainment and more. Free admission.
King of Prussia Beerfest Royale – King of Prussia, PA – October 1 & 3, 2015
The Donnerstag: Happy Hour is on Thursday and Beerfest Royale sessions on Saturday. Tasting mug, beer samples, live music, free parking and more. Event proceeds benefit King of Prussia District.
Bensalem Fall Festival – Bensalem, PA - October 3, 2015
Pennsylvania Apple ‘n Cheese Festival – Canton, PA – October 3-4, 2015

The National Apple Harvest Festival – Arendstville, PA – October 3-4& 10-11, 2015
49 years of food, crafts and music on the first two weekends in October. Orchard tours, petting zoo, craftsmen demonstrations, antique cars and more. Held at the South Mountain Fairgrounds.
Bedford’s Fall Foliage Festival, PA – Bedford, PA – October 3-4 & 10-11, 2015
51st anniversary event with an estimated 70,000 visitors between both weekends. Antique Car Parade on Sat., October 10th.
Johnny Appleseed Festival – Sheffield, PA – October 9-11, 2015
Fireworks, professional lumberjack competition, food, crafts, apple pie baking contest, antique tractor pull, draft horse pull, wine tasting event, antiques appraisal and music.
Houston Pumpkin Festival – Houston, PA – October 9-11, 2015
A community tradition since 1984 loated at the American Legion Post #902 Picnic Grounds. Pumpkin related contests, food & craft vendors, children’s games, parade, music and entertainment. Admission is free.
Bethlehem Harvest Festival – Bethlehem, PA – October 10, 2015
10th annual event. Biergarten, beer/wine/soup tastings, live music and more.
Autumn Timber Festival – Shawnee on Delaware, PA – October 10-11, 2015
Live music, food & craft vendors, trick dog shows, blacksmithing demos, chainsaw sculptures and children’s activities.
Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest – Enola, PA – October 10-11, 2015
16th annual event. Held at Adams-Ricci Park. Car show on Saturday. Craft vendors, games, inflatables, contests, food and entertainment.
Head of the Schuylkill Regatta – Philadelphia, PA – October 24-25. 2015
The Schuylkill River near Boathouse Row will have world champions and Olympic medalists competing for the Gold Cup trophy.
Pittsburgh Bellydance Festival – November 6-8, 2015
Competition, workshops and more at the Pittsburgh Dance Center.
