The iRobot i7 is the robot vacuum that was released in 2018 to be the unnamed successor to the Roomba 980. In 2019, the i7 has been regularly priced at $799 but has been on sale this fall at both Amazon and Best Buy for $100 off – making it available at a price of $699.

The Roomba i7+ is the name of the bundle which includes the i7 robot vacuum as well as dock known as the Clean Base, which enables the self-emptying dust bin feature. If you don’t get the i7+, the main feature that you will be missing is its ability to self-empty. The i7 plus is regularly priced at $1099 but it has also been regularly seen in Fall 2019 available at $999. Before iRobot released the s9+ which has stronger suction and better edge cleaning, Wirecutter called it the best robot vacuum that money can buy.

With the discontinuation of the Roomba 980 and the release of the s9+ this year, it makes this robot vacuum a prime candidate for a solid Roomba black friday deal if the retailers have sold out of their older models.
