Halloween Show and National Haunters Convention 2022
Looks like the Halloween Show and NHC will be back at the Showboat for 2022. We’re looking forward to more information coming out, but given the ongoing COVID pandemic, we also expect it may get further delayed. Check their website for more info, tickets, etc!
Halloween Show and National Haunters Convention 2018
We headed out to Atlantic City for a day at the National Haunters Convention, held at the Showboat Casino. It was so much fun to check out new Halloween decorations and haunt displays, makeup and more. We came home with a few bags of delicious whole coffee beans by Deadly Grounds of Connecticut. We also wandered up and down the Boardwalk, dipped our toes in the ocean (brr) and enjoyed a team day out, away from the computer screens!
National Haunters Convention 2013
The National Haunters Convention for 2013 is one of many Halloween conventions and tradeshows held throughout the country. Held near Philadelphia, Funtober.com plans to attend this haunted house industry event.
The convention will be held May 3-5 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, Pennsylvania. This is approximately a 25 minute drive from my home in downtown Philadelphia.
This is my first industry halloween convention and my first great opportunity to meet many of those pioneers who created the haunted house and halloween industry.
National Haunters Convention has a tradeshow with more than 65 vendors, educational seminars, a haunted house tour, and a Saturday evening costume ball.

Hauntcon 2013
April 25 – 28, 2013 in Dallas, Texas
Hauntcon is a 4 day event held annually around the country that appeals to both the public and industry professionals.
This is the haunt convention with over 350 vendors from all aspects of movies, haunted houses, Halloween events, Halloween costumes, lighting, and professional make-up.
Hauntcon is a leader in presenting educational seminars, workshops, tradeshow, haunted garage sale, custom hearse show, and costumes.
Halloween Extreme
May 24-26, 2013 Orlando, Florida
This convention bills itself as providing “unprecedented public access to movie and theme park quality props and effects”.
Midwest Haunters Convention
June 7-9, 2013 Columbus, Ohio
This convention has more than 100 trade vendors. Haunted house owners from all over the midwest and the general public attend this annual convention held in Columbus, Ohio.
