Boston Haunted Houses for Halloween 2019

Boston haunted houses are some of the best in the northeast including one fantastic haunt listed as one of the popular Funtober 100 favorites.  Plan a great scary night out with your spouse, date, or friends.  Enjoy being terrified at these haunted attractions.  For the price of a fast food meal you can be part of the action as you come face to face with terror.  Most use animatronics, great props, Hollywood sets, and actors with makeup beyond belief.  You will be frightened.  Find all the haunted houses, trails, corn mazes, hayrides, and Halloween fun attractions in the Boston area including the cities of Abington, Salem, and Quincy.

Barrett’s Haunted Mansion - Abington, MA
The scare season begins September 20th, 2019.  Barrett’s Haunted Mansion has added a second attraction, A new evil has taken over in 2019. Always built new every year the Haunted Mansion is all about scary clowns and lots of blood. Every night they change the adventure through the attraction so no two nights are the same. It takes about 20 minutes to go through this attraction. Gates are open from 7 pm to 11 pm most nights. Visit starting in September and Thursday through Sunday in October. Tickets are $30 each and cover all attractions. There are military discounts, VIP (RIP) options, a Lights-On Tour, and 3 nights of Darkness Unleashed. Factory of Terror Falls River - Falls River, MA
Haunted fun begins this season the first weekend in October 2019.  Rumors are that 13 people were murdered many years ago in this factory. Now there are three haunted attractions named Bloodworth Dungeon, 4D Blackout, and Phobia Mayhem. Tickets prices vary nightly.  Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in October.

FearTown - Seekonk, MA
Open Friday night September 27th, 2019.  Runs weekends on Friday, Saturday, and most Sunday nights in October plus Halloween.  Fear Town Haunted House is a massive outdoor haunted attraction that is unlike anything you have ever experienced. Located deep in the woods at Seekonk Speedway, Fear Town will take you on a terrifying journey in and out of the run-down buildings that have been hidden for decades. As you progress through the trail, monsters will come at you from all angles to try and make you a permanent resident of the woods. Fear Town Haunted house is completely redesigned for 2019 with all new sets and themes.

First Parish Haunted House - Bedford, MA
A two night event celebrating the 201st anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.  Check their web pages for date information in late October 2019.  Tickets are $10.

Fright Kingdom - Nashua, NH
Another New England full entertainment venue featuring haunted houses with a midway that has concessions, games, photos, and entertainment. Fright Kingdom is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings starting late September 2019.  Doors open at 7 pm. The attractions are Apocalypse, Bloodmare Maze, Carnival of Corpses, Grim, and Vampire Castle.

Ghost Ship - Quincy, MA
The creatures arrived on board so the ship scare season opens late September 2019.  In October the USS Salem becomes the Haunted Ship also know as Ghost Ship. Doors open at 7 pm. The dates are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October starting plus some additional dates. Four new attractions themed Fear No Evil, Contagion, Paranormal, and The Plague.  Check their web page for details. GHOST SHIP HARBOR is the only Haunted House Attraction on the East Coast the takes place on a Navy Ship!  It has 4 attractions that you can enjoy while here.  A General admission and Fast pass ticket will get you in to the 3 haunted houses while a Paranormal VIP experience pass will give you access to all 3 attractions plus the paranormal experience.  In 2009 the popular show Ghost Hunters did an episode on the USS Salem which has led paranormal investigators from all ‍‍‍over wanting to do their own investigations.  Note they are reopening this year following a fire onboard ship before last Halloween season.  Everyone should have lots of fun in 2019.

Haunted Acres - Candia, NH
Open Friday and Saturday nights starting October 11th, 2019.  Haunted Acres is located at Candia Springs Adventure Park (formerly Liquid Planet Waterpark). It is about darkness and evil. They advertise as “New England’s Most Terrifying Haunted Attraction”.  Doors open at 6:30 pm. Parking is free. The haunted attractions are Quarter Mile Nightmare Walk, Graveyard of the Damned, Maze from Hell, 3D Nuclear Accident House, and Cell Block 13. It appears the adventure park will be open on Friday and Saturday in October.

Hysteria at Connors Farm - Danvers, MA
Spend the evening going through the Haunted Farm and their 7 Acre Flashlight Maze.  Attractions run from 6:30 pm until 11 pm. It operates on Friday and Saturday nights beginning October 2019 plus a couple Sunday and Wednesday nights. Tickets vary greatly depending on single and multiple haunt combinations.  They are located at Connors Farm which has a number of daytime activities, family fun, and festival events in the summer and fall.  At night they have a flashlight maze and haunted attractions.

Lakeville Haunted House - Lakeville, MA
For more than 26 years the Lakeville Haunted House has scared locals and tourists around Halloween.  Enjoy any Friday or Saturday night starting October 2019. Doors open at 6:30 pm until 10 pm. Travel through the maze of horror where evil spirits roam in the darkness.

Screamfest Canubie Lake Park - Salem, NH
Screamfest opens September 21st, 2019.  This is the Halloween attraction for Canubie Lake Park.  It is a full featured entertainment haunt. It has games, concessions, and live shows in addition to some great haunted house attractions. It is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights beginning late September at 6 pm on Friday and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.. Ticket prices depend on the night. This gets you into Dead Shed, The Village, Cannibal Lake, Merriment, and Terror in the Corn. On some days they also operate Oktoberfest, Pumpkin, and kids rides during regular park hours.

Witch Mansion - Salem, MA
Witch Mansion is Salem’s scariest haunted attraction! Built by a professional haunted house design firm, this eerie adventure is guaranteed to give you Chills and Thrills. Along with high-tech animations and creepy ghost illusions, You won’t believe your eyes as you enter a twilight world of ghosts, beasts and banshees.  

Witch’s Woods - Westford, MA
Open Thursday through Sunday nights beginning late September 2019 and newly themed as “Haunted Hayride and Halloween Screampark”.  Witch’s Woods is only minutes from Boston. It features three haunted houses. Nightmare Mansion, Castle Morbid, and 3D Keeper’s Crypt will provide all the screams you desire. Don’t miss the Witch’s Woods Haunted Hayride. For more fun they have a Jack-o-Lantern Jamboree with professionally carved pumpkins, special lighting, and a close up look at classic horror movie characters. Get close and follow the screams. Also they have 2 haunted trails into the dark woods. Ticket prices vary greatly depending on haunt and day of the week but basically are $38. They have a number of specials days and discounts.
