Guide to Phoenix Haunted Houses This Halloween

We have absolutely no idea why there are so many ghosts congregated in the Phoenix area.  You might as well enjoy the many haunted houses in Phoenix. Residents of Mesa, Scottsdale and Glendale have no idea how lucky they are to have so many fun options at Halloween.

13th Floor - Phoenix, AZ
The largest haunted house in Phoenix is 13th Floor. There is a reason buildings do not have a 13th floor. Can you survive the 13th Floor? There are two haunted attractions in this huge 60,000 square foot building.  It is that scary. The second scary attraction is The Frenzy Haunted House. Are you afraid of Zombies? You will be. Two attractions at one combined low price. Doors open at 7 pm.  This is one of the most popular haunts in America.

AZ Field of Screams - Glendale, AZ
Attraction opens October 1st.  Walk through a dark cornfield. Careful, they are waiting for you. Where can you run? Expect to be terrified at Field of Screams. Tickets are $20 for any age. Attraction is open from 7 pm until 11 pm. Visit every Saturday and Sunday through Halloween.  Tolmachoff farms puts on a first class haunted maze at night but also has a full range of activities with a corn maze, pumpkin patch and farm activities during the day.

Fear Farm - Phoenix, AZ
Fear Farm is 26 acres with 5 haunted attractions and a separate corn maze. All new is Phoenix Haunted Hayride. Cost for all 5 combined varies depending on the date. Fear Farm opens late September The Fun House corn maze opens at 6 pm. Fear Farm haunt opens at 7:00 pm.  This is a huge haunt attracting thousands of visitors.

Golfland Fright Nights - Mesa, AZ
Golfland Fright Nights runs a terrifying maze called The Gauntlet Haunted House. It runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday in October. It is open Friday and Saturday from dusk until 12 am. Golfland Fright also has miniature golf, race cars ride, laser tag, and the bumper boats.

Haunted House and Hayride - Phoenix, AZ
Opens October 27th.  Tickets are $8. Attraction opens at 6 pm. They offer free candy to all brave visitors. Also feature Halloween merchandise, caramel apples, apple cider, treats, and bake sale. Ahwatukee has operated this attraction for over 16 years.  Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on October 27th, 28th, 29th 2017.

Jack and Jill’s Haunted Hill - Phoenix, AZ
Jack and Jill’s Haunted Hill has plenty of scares but they also operate from Noon until 5PM a family friendly attraction. At night expect to be scared and scream. Check their calendar for dates and times beginning late September.

Sanctum of Horror - Mesa, AZ
Located at Superstition Springs Center again for 2017 is Sanctum of Horror. Enjoy the ancient graveyard, Charlotte Asylum, The Breach and more located in the Sears parking lot. Open beginning late September.

Scarizona - Scottsdale, AZ
Scarizona opens September 22nd.  Azizona’s Original Screampark features three terrifying houses of terror. Tickets are $38 for all access or $28 for two houses or $22 for Operation Zombie Storm (paintball). The park is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights starting September 22nd. It opens every night at 7 pm and closes on Friday and Saturday nights at midnight. It closes weeknights at 10 pm. The Three attractions are Slayer’s Slaughter House, Epic Fear, and Operation Zombie Storm.

The Crypt Haunted Attractions - Mesa, AZ
The Crypt opens September 22nd.  Located just off US 60 in the Fiesta Mall parking lot is three haunted attractions. The Crypt, The Asylum, and the all new Chaos Maze. Tickets prices vary based on one attraction, two or more. Chaos Maze is just $5 alone. Hours are 7 pm until midnight on Friday and Saturday or 10 pm on other nights.

The House on Camino - Mesa, AZ
Mesa also has a haunted garage called House on Camino. This past year, the theme was a haunted motel and the money raised was donated to the Child Crisis Center. This is a charity haunt attraction with free admission. Times vary starting between 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Donations are appreciated.
