Springfield haunted houses are some of the scariest in Missouri.  Enjoy a great fun night out with your spouse.  Expect to be terrified at these haunted attractions.  For the price of a fast food meal you can be part of the action as you come face to face with terror.  Most use animatronics, great props, Hollywood sets, and live actors with makeup beyond belief.  You will be frightened.  Find all the haunted houses, trails, corn mazes, hayrides, and Halloween fun attractions in the Springfield area.

In 1865, the Davis Tutt was killed in a famous quick draw duel of Wild West proportions with Wild Bill Hickok here in Springfield. You might just see his ghost stalking victims at one of these haunted houses.

Boo Crew Haunted House - Rochester, IL
Boo Crew starts the season on October 5th.  Tickets start at $17 for the Boo Crew Haunted House. Doors are open from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm most nights. They are open every Friday and Saturday in October.  Tickets include the haunted house and new Trail of Lost Souls. Operated by the Rochester Lions Club for the benefit of various community charities.

Branson’s Haunted Screampark - Reeds Spring, MO
Branson’s Haunted Screampark has nine haunted attractions at one location. It opens and runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights beginning September 28th.  Also some additional nights Halloween week.  Combo ticket for all haunts is just $18.95. The haunts are Branson’s Haunted Adventure, The Terror Tales, Slashers, Insanitarium and more.

Fright Night - Forest City, IL
Fright night has four separate haunt attractions. The tickets are a combo ticket package for all 4 attractions. The attractions are the Church, Skinner House, The Trail, and Crazy Cage. Attraction opens every Friday and Saturday in October.  Also they have Witch’s Brew Cafe and Dead Man’s Diner for food.

Hotel of Terror - Springfield, MO
Opens this year on September 21st and runs Friday and Saturday nights in September.  Runs all but 6 nights in October.  Check web page for details.  Hotel of Terror has been scary for over 30 years. Tickets are $15. A scary and exciting place to visit. Don’t fear they still have you escape down the 96 foot slide.

Spider Hill at Three Sisters Park - Chillicothe, IL
Opens for Halloween fun on October 5th.  Spider Hill has been around for 19 years. Tickets are $10 which gets you into Massacre Mansion, $10 gets the The Trail of Terror, and $15 gets the Zombie Invasion Shooting Range. Enjoy the free entertainment, bonfire, face painting, and a paintball target range. Spider Hill is open from 7 pm to 11 pm every Friday and Saturday in October.

Terror on the Square - Petersburg, IL
Ghost illusions and intense scares create the fright at Terror on the Square. It opens October 12th and runs every Friday and Saturday in October. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are around $13. All new outdoor scenes for 2018 at Menard County Fairgrounds.  The theme this year is “Terror in the Graveyard”.
